Back by POPULAR Demand!

The next Python for Busy Executives workshop at NUSS will be held on 7 October 2017 (Saturday) from 10 am to 4 pm. The previous run of this popular workshop on 1 Jul 2017 was overbooked due to high demand.

Python is a powerful and versatile programming language that is widely used in many fields e.g. data science, games, web applications. The workshop will equip busy working executives with the programming skills to solve problems and raise work productivity.

In this 5-hr workshop, the participant will learn all the important programming concepts such as data structures, loops, decision making, functions, object oriented principles and practice writing clean and clear codes.

Here’s what participants have said of the workshop.

Target Audience

The busy executives who are curious about programming. How to use programming to solve real world problems, be more productive or even build fun projects? Participants are not required to have any prior programming knowledge. This workshop is great for those who want to be equipped with enough programming skills to become productive immediately after the workshop. Managers, supervisors, data analysts, engineers and non-science graduates will benefit from this workshop. Under graduates and other tertiary level students who wish to giddy up on Python within a short time are welcome to sign up as well.

Participants must bring along their own laptops for this workshop. All hands-on exercises in both sessions will be done on the participants’ own laptop. Participants will be shown how to install Python 3.X on to their own laptops in the workshop.
